Georgianna Zollo: Pizza and soda for the adults dear...works everytime.
Carolynn Testani: Give 'em some drinks.
Byron Fortmann: No worries there. The children will fill any gaps. Trust me. They are coming for the kids!!! It will be just great. Have fun.
Shaquita Wernicki: Alcohol is the answer.
Asa Soho: Nuts, chat and plenty of beer!
Mark Villifana: Why dont you do something involving the parents with the kids everone can laugh at. Like idk... a patatoe sack race or which baby can hold and egg on the spoon the longest. Something entertaining like that would be good. Dont provide alchohol unless you really know the couple, it might reflect bad on your behalf. Snacks and drinks though is a great idea.
Devon Kalberer: I just had my daughters first birthday party on Sunday. I just let all the kids play and had food and all that good stuff for the adults. Also had some music playing. They will make conversation among themselves. Just make! sure they have stuff to eat and drink and I think they will be happy. Just make sure you visit and talk to all your guests!
Jeannetta Gaffigan: pizza, punch, wings and beer
Arnette Dominici: Just provide food and beverages. They'll mingle. P.S.- If the kids are the same age as your son, they'll all be occupied anyway. The children won't be playing with each other.Happy Birthday to your little one!...Show more
Nedra Oltz: get a dj or have party for the audilt when the kids leave
Daren Ventrice: No games just plenty of booze
Dale Mccoun: Jello shots
Flor Lizardi: Usually you just offer drinks and food and chat, the kids will keep you all busy
Betsey Copp: wine/beer is always a good thing for adultsthen put on some musicget them a bit buzzedand voila they're partying with the kids
Heidy Fujikake: Have them bring their favorite dish. And let them exchange recipes.
Angelyn Ducas: put music they like they might dance or som! ething
Craig Virani: I would suggest some exotic dancers! .
Blair Abdi: Coke and Heroin.
Tobie Oshea: Introduce each of the kids and the adults.
Rodrigo Pezley: Beer!
Elinore Schlinker: get some party games on nintendo wii(if your son have one), everybody will love to play, from kids to adults, (even the queen elizabeth II loves it). karaoke would be a good idea if your neighboors dont mind. I think you should try things which both adults and kids will enjoy, enjou yout party
Eli Trapeni: Nice wine, appetizers. Adults tend to mingle into conversations, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just provide refreshments, food, etc.
Elden Dedon: Create a coffee corner where the adults can mingle together but still see the children. There should be refreshments that are adult specific. Then make sure everyone is properly introduced."Sam, this is Joe. Joe, this is Sam. Joe is an advertising executive." or something like that. Introductions are a great way of encouraging conversation. Just make sure tha! t if you notice your guests just standing around bring up something interesting. Just stay away from topics like religion and politics. There's no need for a brawl at a birthday party....Show more
Chris Wilczewski: im sry but dont even have a party for your 1 yr old just make it a small party and then just have adult time. i went to a 1 yr old party and it was hell and im only 14 it was HELL so boaring dont make it really boring plase youll never have any freinds lol im just kinding just make it fun
Beau Starcevic: Hang upside down from the rafters , When the mommys do it it will get more fun! :)
Charissa Riley: Paint guns... then they can play tag with the small ones.
Tyrone Disanti: A first birthday party is really for the adults, not the kids. The kids don't know any different.Have good food and just make it a social event. Most adults will be entertained watching the baby smash into the cake.
Floy Fague: Doing a BBQ works great. Since my so! n's birthday is during the summer, I did one at the park. It was great.! .. but since it's winter, a backyard one will do great too.If you'd like to have a few beers around, that is fine too - everyone should know it's not a time to get drunk, but it's nice to get that edge off. (don't display the bottles, but you can mention you have some available if wanted.)Usually, it's not a big deal to entertain the adults at a party. It's not about them... and usually, after a bit, they start talking and watching the kids play. Games are not needed, unless you have a few for the kids, and have some of the adults help.Otherwise, don't stress. Have some "adult food" available and enjoy the time together. Just wait till your little one is 8 and you've got twenty 7-9 year olds running around and trying to keep them entertained! Now... THAT"S something to come back to yahoo answers for! :) Good luck... don't stress over it....Show more
Anibal Katayama: Its not your job to entertain the adults. You will be busy enough watching the little ones since I fin! d that when parents of children get together, somehow they begin chatting and no one is watching the children and so there are falls. This is especially true on school field trips in later years. Happy Birthday to your son
Arnulfo Seegars: Ask them to participate in something interesting and meaningful to the party.
