Voncile Slaubaugh: I believe the answer is 30 days most places, other places 90 days. I'm sure if you went there and setup a payment plan of some sort they would not sell it. Also be sure to go there when yet are really busy, perhaps on a day with bad weather, etc. I know one of my friends had his car towed for a parking violation a while back and went in when they were busy. Then he was handed a bill of around $180 (the company name is affordable towing) and he started a small scene there in front of other customers saying "$180 for a two mile tow is ridiculous. How can you call yourselves affordable?" and they told him to quiet down and slid him a different sheet for $50. Most places towing companies claim to be affordable but really aren't so go in there and do what my friend did and you'll probably save some. ;)...Show more
Nancy Mansell: you think of they lied, yet don't have evidence. What stable could it do for them to deceive you. This financial gadget sucks! and sellers are doing all they are able to to sell vehicles. you chosen to purchase yet another from a similar place and now you're mad......it somewhat is a few backwards thinking. Why did no longer you watch for them to repair the vehicle if that's the single you needed!!!!!!
Terrell Lawman: Every state probably has different laws but generally, it involves attempting to notify the last registered owner and sending them a letter saying they have so long to come get the car & pay the fees. (None do)Because none do, the towing company can legally sell them.So the cars sit until they have a bunch of them and then they auction them off.Im not 100% clear on if the towing company has to get a new title or they can just sell them and require the buyer to deal with it if they choose. But most of those cars end up in salvage yards so threes no point in paying for new titles....Show more
