Aid my knowledge of networking two computers (Both have separate internet connections) to a external HD.?

Aron Ramu: Is there a Y like USB cable? Where the bottom of the Y could go into the HD while the top of the Y (the split end) could go into each computer?

A "computer" can be a router designed for disk hosting, any PC with disk sharing turned on, or any other "Network Storage" device (NAS) that works with USB and Ethernet wiring. If you are connecting to the network/internet through two difference ISP services, you will not be able to share that drive between those two systems - they are different networks.......Show more
