answers6: my style is a mix of what-a-mom-would-like and punk. for
example: bright red hair (like Hayley William's), black boots, chunky
jewelry all for me and then a floral dress for my mom. It works out
quite nicely. Or, I wear the jeans my mom wants me to wear (light,
straight leg), and then wear a really long tie-dye shirt, lots of
bracelets, make my hair look totally punkish, and then wear sporty
flats from adidas. <br>
<br>
I love the whole "rapper style" as my friends would say (baggy stuff

Beauty blender application?

answers1: We carry the Beauty Blender-one is $9.99 and it comes with
cleanser. If used properly, that one blender will last 6 months, so,
yes! it is worth it. <br>
It is not intended for use with powder.
answers2: the beauty blender works best with liquid foundation. it
will NOT work at all, period, for powders. <br>
& in my opinion, no. ulta's house brand makes an inexpensive dupe of
the beauty blender. i'll link it here: <br>

<br>
try this out, and see what you think about it. from there, you decide
if the beauty blender is worth it. <br>
good luck & hope this helped x

How do I detox my body?

answers1: I use a glass of water and a couple tablespoons of lemon
juice. This is a great way to help your lever to detox the blood. Do
this while your drinking thruout the day, <br>
<br>
Once a week, use the Bard's Natural Apple cider and honey.
answers2: Go to your gym and get a sauna !
answers3: Do a frugivore diet! --- <br>
According to total daily caloric intake: <br>
80% fruit and freshly-made fruit juices <br>
10-15% greens <br>
5-10% essential fatty acids <br>
( <a href="http://www.healingdetoxdiet.com/healthy-eating-healthy-diet-plan"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.healingdetoxdiet.com/healthy-...</a>
) <br>
<br>
This is a very alkalizing diet and will reverse the acidosis effects
that you are feeling, most likely caused by S.A.D. (Standard American
Diet). Follow this diet until you are feeling on top of the world -
may take weeks to months, depending on how acidic you are. Go for
long nature walks to clear the mind and get the blood and lymph
moving. This protocol works like a charm.... Much luck in diminishing
the crappy feeling, been there, done that, not doing it again. ;)
answers4: Fad Body Cleanses are not healthy for your body. If you eat
a healthy diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, the body
automatically cleanses itself. <br>
<br>
I wish you well.

skin care for oily skin?

answers1: what helped me was 2 times a week, scrub your face with a
mixture of honey and crushed oatmeal, put it in the blender and grind
it up real good and mix it with the honey and leave it on your face
and after like 5 mins, scrub your face with it and it'll absorb the
oil and leave it nice and soft. it's a little messy but it works
answers2: An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the
sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease
tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film ,
that needs to be removed daily. For more details on oily skin log on
to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/ <br>
Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips
to control blackheads.

<br>
evening <br>
-garnier nutrisioniste detoxifying gel cleanser <br>
-biore triple action astringent <br>
-neutrogena 3-in-1 hydrating acne treatment <br>
<br>
these products together have totally transformed my skin. i totally
recomend them!!!
answers5: Skin Care for Oily Skin <br>
The great advantage of oily skin is that it ages at a slower rate than
other skin types. <br>
<br>
Oily skin needs special cleansing with plenty of hot water and soap to
prevent the pores from being clogged. Avoid harsh products that strip
your skin of oil and encourage flakiness. They can cause a reaction
known as reactive seborrhoea, where the oil glands work overtime to
compensate for the loss of natural oils. <br>
<br>
Avoid skincare products that leave your skin feeling taut and
dehydrated. They cause the upper layers of the skin to shrink. This
restricts oil flow through the pores leading to blockages and
breakouts. <br>
<br>
To cleanse oily skin, use oil-based products as they dissolve sebum
effectively. Opt for oil-free moisturizers to maintain a shine-free
complexion. <br>
<br>
Keep your skin very clean. Limit washing your face to two or three
times a day. Too much washing will stimulate your skin to produce more
oil. <br>
<br>
Choose your cleanser with care. Avoid heavy cleansing creams. Avoid
the use of harsh soaps or cleansers. Use a pure soap with no
artificial additives. Try an antibacterial cleansing lotion or a
lightly medicated soap, and use it in combination with a water rich in
minerals, not tap water. Do not use cleansers or lotions that contain
alcohol. After cleansing, apply a natural oil-free moisturizer to keep
the skin supple. <br>
<br>
Use hot water when washing your face. Hot water dissolves skin oil
better than lukewarm or cold water. <br>
<br>
If your skin is extremely oily, three or four daily cleansings may be
in order and little or no moisturizing necessary before you are 30
years old. After that point, the skin around your eyes and mouth and
on your throat may benefit from a nightly moisturizing, plus a mere
touch of moisturizer in the morning. <br>
<br>
When cleansing, massage your face well with your fingertips, using an
upward and outward motion. Be careful not to rub soap into the skin;
it can clog pores. <br>
<br>
If your oily skin is scaly, you can often correct the problem by using
a deep-cleaning exfoliant on alternate nights, and following the
treatment with a light coating of moisturizer. <br>
<br>
Try using a clay or mud mask. If you have sensitive skin, use white or
rose-colored clays. <br>
<br>
Use a light antiseptic night cream from time to time if you wish, and
apply a clarifying mask one or two times a week. <br>
<br>
Choose cosmetic and facial care products specifically designed for
oily skin. <br>
<br>
Before applying makeup, use an antiseptic day cream with active
ingredients that diminish sebaceous secretions. Look for benzyl
peroxide in the list of active ingredients. <br>
<br>
Use a light antiseptic night cream from time to time if you wish, and
apply a clarifying mask one or two times a week. <br>

If skin is lost to a part of the body will more skin grow back than before?

answers1: New skin replaces old skin. There is no excess skin. Wounds

create redness and swelling which can take ages to settle.Use a
waterbased moisturiser and GENTLY rub in. every time you go past a tap
wet your hands and dab the area gently. depending where the area is

allergic reaction. If the area is rough because of trauma (burns etc)
then protect it from harsh elements ( strong soaps, heat, cold and
fierce sunlight) same with the facial area. Vitamin E oil (from the
capsule) worked wonders with me as far as healing an angry area, use
sparingly, don`t use if you have an allergy to wheat. good luck. let
me know if it helps, may I knowwhere is this area and what caused it?
answers7: clinique 3 step toner @ walmart
answers8: Utilising brightening or whitening serums will aid scale
back discoloration. Your skincare regimn sounds just right. But there
is not relatively a technique (under a gazillion bucks) to make your
epidermis flawless. Makeup will most likely help.... Concealer is the
to a splotch, blemish, or scar. To find one who fits your skin tone
and texture. Consistency also makes the difference. Are attempting
creamier concealers beneath the eyes and somewhat thicker ones for the
leisure of the face. There are concealers with exceptional shimmer,
which support brighten beneath your eyes. There are other concealers
that incorporate salicylic acid that no longer most effective coverup,
but in addition deal with zits. There is basis. Continually remember
it is texture and if it's formula is proper in your dermis. Dewy or
matte? Moisturizing or oil-absorbing? Sheerly normal or undoubtedly
flawless? And everything in between. Make makeup final with just a
little little bit of powder. Try a peachy or yellow free powder. It
warms your complexion and protects your makeup. Follow with a giant
fluffy brush so that you deposit a high-quality quantity onto skin
alternatively of pancaking it on.

What is essential for a beginner makeup bag?

answers1: depends on age.. but if u are very yong i'd say mascara and
lip gloss..if u are an adult...foundation, conclear, mascara,
eyeshadow, bronzer/blush, lip colour
answers2: it all depends on your skin type. the normal essentials for
beginners are usually just foundation in powder form, light pink
blush, mascara, lipgloss, and maybe eyeliner. if you are to get
eyeliner, id suggest also investing in an eyeliner sharpener.
answers3: start with mascara, eyeliner, and a nice neutral shade of
lip gloss. <br>
<br>
then i would go with a blush that adds a pop of color to your cheeks.
answers4: i recenttly made this little pic of whats in mine enjoy <br>
pretty much this is what you need: <br>
blush <br>
msascara <br>
eyeliner <br>
bronzer(if you use it) <br>
foundation creme <br>
lipgloss <br>
powder
answers5: Mascara, eye liner pencil for bottom lid and liquid eye
liner for top <br>
if you've got good skin then don't bother with foundation - you don't
want to look like an oompa loompa if yu do get some ;) but it's nice
for like going out special places (: <br>
dark eyeshadows good so it'll enhance yur eyes n for day wear maybe a
neutral colour <br>
hmm what else - my opinion is blusher makes you look over the top so
maybe if yu do want 2 use it with foundation then get a lighter colour
(: <br>
hope that helps :)
answers6: bring the necessities to school with you, things that need
touched up through out the day, like powder, lip gloss or chapstick,
eyeliner and eyelash curler, you dont really need to bring mascara,
cause you don't want to touch it up unless you want spider lashes.
just use the curler to pump them up when you are looking a little
tired. tweezers for any stray brow hair (if you pluck), travel size
perfume. everything else, you should just leave at home.
answers7: I think the very basics are mascara, bronzer and blush. Just
a quick swipe of bronzer across your face acts as a mini foundation
and then smile and apply some blush to the apples of your cheeks to
highlight your bone structure. And to make the eyes pop, find a
shimmery thick mascara. <br>
<br>
If you want to dive a little deeper try an eyeshadow pallet with 3 or
4 colors for the complete look!
answers8: Mascara <br>
Concealer <br>
Neutral eyeshadow <br>
Lipgloss <br>
<br>
If you're just a beginner, I think that's good to start with. You can
build upon that.
answers9: lip gloss, foundation if you use it, and lash curler. I
would say lash curler is the most important because before the mascara
or the eye liner curling your lashes is going to automatically open up
your eyes. I know it not a cosmetic product but it's a must have tool
in a makeup bag. Oh! almost forgot Vaseline is kind of a staple too.
It's a quick fix for everything ; ) functions as a lip gloss, mascara
and remover.

Is makeup bad for the skin?

answers1: makeup can really go either way. If you wear makeup that's
designed to help skin, don't put on a whole lot it on and wash it off
every night im sure it would unharmful and possibly healthy for skin.
other makeup however will clog your pores and damage your skin causing
you to want to wear more without even knowing why. ALWAYS wash it off
before you go to bed and don't cake it on to your face
answers2: If it is not breathable, expired or applied incorrectly it can be.
answers3: Of course makeup is bad for your skin. All makeup is bad for
your skin.

when did you start wearing makeup??

answers1: Summers since i was 11, but i started wearing all year long
in 8th grade. Don't use coverup, ur too young for that, same with
lipstick. Don't wear blush, because it is easy for young people to do
too much. Don't use eyeliner, because it looks ridiculous. I do wear
eyeshadow (just don't do bright blue or very dark eyeshadow... but
purple, pink, white and brown all rock... just not to bright or
noticeable ) and mascara. Coverups okay for gigantic pimples. Lip
gloss is perfectly fine, i've been wearing that for years. I would
still maybe wait a couple of years for school years, but if u must
than uu can wear eyeshadow and mascara. and some lipgloss JUST DONT
FORGET UR BEAUTIUL WHETHER OR NOT U WEAR MAKEUP!!!!! :)
answers2: i personally think wait a lil while longer to wear heavy
makeup im 15 and i still use mascara eyeliner lipgloss and blush and
thats it normally i just blush on special occasion i started off wheni
was 13 and i just used mascara and lipgloss so i would say just
mascara and lip gloss dont ruin your skin cuz by the time your going
to be 15 or 16 and you use bronzer and cover up your face will look
like its like 26 and yea but i would say wait till your 14 or 13 to
put on makeup 11 is still young but its nice to think abou tyour buety
when your 11 i didnt know what makeup was when i was your age lol
answers3: im 14 & still havent started wearing makeup yet but the only
reason i havent started wearing makeup yet is becuz i hve acne on my
forehead & am trying 2 get rid of it but my mom used 2 be a beauty
control consultant & i have a ton of makeu i just nvr wear it
answers4: no dont do it. you're too young. at that age, you shouldnt
be worryin about make-up. once you're like 14 or so, then you could
wear a little, but people think of young girls that wear make-up as
$luts. try jus lip gloss. its the best makeup there is.
answers5: Technicly, I started wearing it at 4 for ballet and
musicals, but I started wearing normal makeup at 11, but I only wore
eyeshadow,lipgloss,and a little mascara.
answers6: i started when i was 13 but i know loads of people who
started much younger or are only just starting at 15. If you want to
then why not. Just experiment and eventually you'll find something
good. <br>
<br>
Tip. don't wear foundation once you start you can't stop. I don't need
foundation yet i wear it every day because i feel ugly and horrid
without. So just skip the foundation.
answers7: I just started this year, and I'm 13! <br>
<br>
Sorry, but 11's a little young. At the most I would say mascara and lipgloss! :]
answers8: i was 13.. <br>
<br>
If your gona wear makeup make it NATURAL... <br>
<br>
i always see 11 year olds around that wear makeup that is orange
becuase they dont pick foundation in the right skin tone or they just
put far too much on. <br>
<br>
Plently of people at 11 wear makeup...if its what you really want to
do then go for it...just dont make yourself look like a clown!
answers9: My dad let me wear in on the weekends when I was 12. when I
was 13 I wore it all the time when I moved to my moms. <br>
<br>
I agree with the others. you are old enough, just go light and ask an
adult to help you pick it out and show you how to use it.
answers10: My grandma let me start wearing makeup when I was 13.
However, she took me to Merle Norman and had them teach me how to
apply everything, as well as how to correctly remove the makeup and
clean my face. She wouldn't allow me to wear makeup until after I had
done this. I'm glad that she did it because I didn't have to go to
school wearing makeup wrong b/c I didn't know how to put it on.

Why does trimming hair reduce the hair loss?

answers1: never heard that
answers2: because of trimming
answers3: Maybe short hair just doesn't fall out as easy. Since it is sorter.
answers4: It probably has to do with controlling the split ends of
your hair and your brushing habits. When hair is not trimmed on a
regular basis it gets split ends. The splits travel up the length of
the hairs, weakening them and making them break off easily.
Obviously, longer hairs that break off will be more visible than
shorter hairs. Now that you have returned to a shorter style, get
regular trims to avoid the splits. <br>
<br>
Brushing hair too much can also break off hairs, especially if you
brush while the hair is wet. Wet hair is very fragile. Only use a
comb with widely spaced teeth on wet hair. It also helps to use a
good conditioner every time you wash your hair, and occasionally use a
leave-in conditioner, which will help keep the hairs healthy. Again,
you probably brushed your hair much more when it was longer, which
added to the split ends.

How to fix my iphone from accessory mode?

answers1: Try turning it off and blowing the dust and grime out of the
dock connector (using canned air -- not your mouth). Chances are, a
small piece of conductive material is shorting a few pins telling the
iPhone that an accessory is connected.
answers2: you will possibly desire to teach the telephone off
thoroughly each time the cabin team says to teach off digital units.
as quickly as the team says so you might use digital units, you may
turn the telephone on, yet you will possibly desire to save it in

What women's accessories or fashion jewelry that are in this season?

answers1: 1. Are you fashion concious? Kind of, but not the point of
skipping school just because my shirt is wrinkled or something doesn't
match. (It's happened before. Sad, sad.) As long as I look decent, I'm
fine. 2. What factors do you keep in mind while following the fashion
trend? I don't "follow" trends. If I think a trend is cute, there's
always a reason and NOT because I worship trends and get a new
wardrobe every season. 3. What is the month expenditure on clothes,
accessories, and cosmetics? We're doing home makeovers, which means
wardrobe makeovers, and in the next two or three months, we can easily
spend about 500 dollars on each wardrobe. Thousands for my Dad since
he's buying new suits. Once everything gets back to normal, only maybe
50 to 100 dollars for a monthly shopping trip. 4. How do you think the
following trends will influence you? Like I said, I don't follow
trends. If it looks good on me, and I think it's cute, I'll buy it,
but not because I want to look "trendy". 5. How do you think awareness
and falling fashion trends affect the individual's personality? I
believe that anyone who strictly follows these trends have no
originality whatsoever. They seriously affect people's personality to
the point of insanity. If you like a trend, go for it, but jazz it up
with different accessories. What if you don't like the trend? Are you
always going to be concious about how you look? Oh wait, it's a trend!
Supposedly EVERYONE looks good in a trend and you'll do just fine!
Wrong-o. If you don't like what you wear, then you will always look
bad. Hope I helped. Interesting questions. :-)

Identify the four accessory structures or accessory organs of the human digestive system; describe the functio?

answers1: Accessory Structures Of An Organ
answers2: Accessory Organs <br>
The salivary glands, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas are not part of
the digestive tract, but they have a role in digestive activities and
are considered accessory organs. <br>
<br>
Salivary Glands <br>
<br>
Three pairs of major salivary glands (parotid, submandibular, and
sublingual glands) and numerous smaller ones secrete saliva into the
oral cavity, where it is mixed with food during mastication. Saliva
contains water, mucus, and enzyme amylase. Functions of saliva include
the following: <br>
<br>
It has a cleansing action on the teeth. <br>
It moistens and lubricates food during mastication and swallowing. <br>
It dissolves certain molecules so that food can be tasted. <br>
It begins the chemical digestion of starches through the action of
amylase, which breaks down polysaccharides into disaccharides. <br>
Liver <br>
<br>
The liver is located primarily in the right hypochondriac and
epigastric regions of the abdomen, just beneath the diaphragm. It is
the largest gland in the body. On the surface, the liver is divided
into two major lobes and two smaller lobes. The functional units of
the liver are lobules with sinusoids that carry blood from the
periphery to the central vein of the lobule. <br>
<br>
The liver receives blood from two sources. Freshly oxygenated blood is
brought to the liver by the common hepatic artery, a branch of the
celiac trunk from the abdominal aorta. Blood that is rich in nutrients
from the digestive tract is carried to the liver by the hepatic portal
vein. <br>
<br>
The liver has a wide variety of functions and many of these are vital
to life. Hepatocytes perform most of the functions attributed to the
liver, but the phagocytic Kupffer cells that line the sinusoids are
responsible for cleansing the blood. <br>
<br>
Liver functions include the following: <br>
<br>
secretion <br>
synthesis of bile salts <br>
synthesis of plasma protein <br>
storage <br>
detoxification <br>
excretion <br>
carbohyrate metabolism <br>
lipid metabolism <br>
protein metabolism <br>
filtering <br>
Gallbladder <br>
<br>
The gallbladder is a pear-shaped sac that is attached to the visceral
surface of the liver by the cystic duct. The principal function of the
gallbladder is to serve as a storage reservoir for bile. Bile is a
yellowish-green fluid produced by liver cells. The main components of
bile are water, bile salts, bile pigments, and cholesterol. <br>
<br>
Bile salts act as emulsifying agents in the digestion and absorption
of fats. Cholesterol and bile pigments from the breakdown of
hemoglobin are excreted from the body in the bile. <br>
<br>
Pancreas <br>
<br>
The pancreas has both endocrine and exocrine functions. The endocrine
portion consists of the scattered islets of Langerhans, which secrete
the hormones insulin and glucagon into the blood. The exocrine portion
is the major part of the gland. It consists of pancreatic acinar cells
that secrete digestive enzymes into tiny ducts interwoven between the
cells. Pancreatic enzymes include anylase, trypsin, peptidase, and
lipase. Pancreatic secretions are controlled by the hormones secretin
and cholecystokinin. <br>
<br>

answers3: These are the PARTS and FUNCTIONS of the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
highly simplified: Mouth > Where the food enters the body. This is
also where initial digestion occurs. Pharynx > Where the food becomes
a bolus (mass of chewed food), and it is conducted to the esophagus.
Esophagus > Where the bolus is transported from the pharynx to the
stomach. Stomach > Where digestion of carbohydrates and fats are
performed. *Liver > Releases bile into the gall bladder, which stores
it until fats are passed from the stomach into the duodenum. *Pancreas
> Releases enzymes which further degrade carbohydrates and proteins.
Both the liver and the pancreas release their products to the Duodenum
through the Major Duodenal Papilla. Duodenum > Where protein digestion
occur. Absorption of nutrients such as carbohydrates and most minerals
occur here. Jejunum > Longest segment of the digestive tract.
Absorption of carbohydrates and proteins continue here. Ileum > Where
calcium, iron, fats, and bile salts get absorbed. This is also where
lymph nodes protect the body from the remaining undigested and
unabsorbed foodstuff. Cecum > Where there are good bacteria which help
ferment cellulose and undigested lactose. The bacteria here produce a
substance called "raffinose", which is the compound responsible for
the putrid odor of fart. Ascending, Transverse, Descending, and
Sigmoid Colon > Where water and electrolytes are absorbed. Rectum >
Where the feces is stored before expulsion. Anal Canal > A very short
passageway connecting the rectum and the anus. This is the junction of
the visceral (internal body organs) and the integument (external body
organs such as the skin). Anus > The last stage of the digestive
system and the opening into the outside world (duh?!) Hope I helped
you!

Do you think fashion is art?

answers1: I do very much
answers2: answer is the two particular an no. There are aspects of
vogue that can actual be considered artwork. although the two as lots
greater of that's a means or commerce. The organic aesthetic layout
factor of vogue could be considered an artwork-kind, although from
thereon in all aspects of vogue, the slicing, sewing of a couture gown
to styling for a photoshoot will become industry artwork, and
consequently a commerce. If one have been to pose the question no
remember if a couture gown made for the runway is artwork however, the
respond could be rather diverse, whilst maximum of the artwork placed
into the gown may be the artwork of a craftsman, the basically proper
product must be considered a chew of artwork. To sum up, the
aesthetics of layout, couture clothing and pictures themselves may be
considered artwork, yet something of the form industry is precisely
that, an industry. Male, 20. reading materials technological
understanding and Engineering at Imperial college. Candidate for MA
Innovation layout Engineering on the Royal college of artwork. Edit -
Charles, whilst I settle on your factor as valid, i could nonetheless
prefer to contest your argument. whilst vogue does certainly ebb and
circulate with passing time and is massively commercialised, that's
only the facade that it holds as much as stay to tell the story.
there's a dying breed of vogue residences belonging the elite band of
the Chambre syndicale de l. a. high fashion whose existence relies on
the laurels of those reminiscent of Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, and
Christian Dior (and later persisted via the likes of Yves Saint
Laurent and Giorgio Armani), people who no longer purely created
clothing, yet understood and redefined femininity, and that's their
legacy. We would have moved forward, yet present day vogue dates back
to those founders.
answers3: yes. <br>
it takes creativity to design clothes, skills to make them come to
reality, and character to pull them off! and what you wear expresses
who you are, like a lot of people dress to express themselves. it's
definitely art.
answers4: Everything is art from clothes to chairs. someone had to create it.
answers5: Yes it definately is because it has vision and takes
creativity to create real fashion. it isn't just clothes
answers6: Yes because, Art is the product or process of deliberately
arranging symbolic elements in a way that influences and affects one
or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect. It encompasses a
diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression,
including music, literature, film, photography, sculpture, and
paintings. The meaning of art is explored in a branch of philosophy
known as aesthetics, and even disciplines such as history and
psychoanalysis analyze its relationship with humans and generations.
<br>
This can be expressed through fashion
answers7: I suppose. Fashion is an art all in itself. It requires
patience and a lot of artistic talent to create a design. A Fashion
Design is like an Art Design. They both require a lot of artistic
talent to be a fashion.
answers8: Yes, to me, i dress how i feel in the day, it inspires me,
it shows my personality! Its like music.. I listen the songs according
to what i feel..
answers9: yes ... sure :D
answers10: No. Fashion is petty. <br>
<br>
Art is meaningful beauty. Fashion is more like pornography

Fashion Photography/ Fashion in general help!?

answers1: Okay, well first off I would advise you to go to the shop
and buy VOGUE. Half of the magazine is full of ad's for top designer
brands and good editorial shoots of the models, i.e; Louis Vuitton,
Christian Dior, Miu Miu, Chanel, but I would say Vivienne Westwood
really takes fashion photography to another level.. all her shoots are
quite eccentric. A few other great fashion magazines to buy are ELLE,
In Style and Harper's Bazaar. These magazine are expensive; usually
about £4.00 for one. The best magazine for editorial is Harper's
Bazaar so if you can only afford one, buy that one. <br>
Models connect with the camera in many different ways and techniques..
they can use different expressions and muscle movements in their
faces, also good eye contact with the camera. Fashion photography is
extremely important because at the end of the day, its about
advertising the item or clothing and making money, therefore the
better the photography the more money is made. That's why its also
very important for the brand to have the right kind of model, to
attract the right buyers they are aiming at. Go have a look through
some of the magazine I mentioned and the photos you like find out who
the models are that are modeling for them. <br>
<br>
---------------------------------------... <br>
<br>
<br>
Yeah that would be fine. Just any magazine with lots of fashion ads
inside. It doesn't really matter how old they are, depending on what
its for... the fashion ads wont be up to date, so if that's a problem
then you probably would need a newer up to date version, but generally
it should be fine! Have fun. :)
answers2: That's not fashion photography at all. These just look like
snapshots, you can improve though. Where's the fashion? A black
jumper, jeans, a teddy bear, guitar and an emo outfit does not shout
fashion to me try to actually get some dresses or something high
fashion that doesn't have a stereotype. Also have you ever seen a
photograph in vogue of someone against a white wall and wooden floor?
Look through vogue or just watch Americas next top model. This should
show you.

what dose a Fashion Journalist do?

answers1: Angelina Jolie
answers2: A fashion journalist uses the written word to portray what
is, essentially, a visual medium in interesting, creative,
entertaining and imaginative ways. They need to understand the
difference between fashion and shopping, taking into account wider and
more diverse factors, including societal, cultural and economic
contexts. <br>
<br>
Tasks typically involve: <br>
<br>
* communicating the constantly changing fashion market to a wide
audience; <br>
* reviewing and keeping abreast of new ranges, designers and trends; <br>
* visiting and building contacts with relevant PR companies; <br>
* attending press open days, trade and consumer shows; <br>
* researching the fashion media; <br>
* interviewing designers; <br>
* organising and attending fashion shoots; <br>
* writing and editing features and news stories. <br>
<br>
Fashion journalists are likely to be employed by national or
specialist newspapers and magazines. Freelance opportunities also
exist, with an increasing number online. The National Union of
Journalists (NUJ) can provide further information and support for
freelance journalists in all settings. <br>
<br>
The continuing expansion of digital media may increase opportunities
to move into broadcast journalism, either as a researcher, reporter or
presenter

what is the significance of humanities in business?or is it related?

answers1: Absolutely none. High time we got rid of the notion that
humanities have any place in the business world. We should overthrow
the unions, too, and go back to slave labor. And while we're at it,
there's no point in businesses wasting their profits on donations to
the arts or sponsoring art, music or dance performances. <br>
Bah, humbug!
answers2: .When South Africa was still segregated, I worked with a
bunch of Yale Students to get the Trustees to divest and we set up an
alternative investment program for that purpose. At one of those
Brunchens the trustees informed us that the Board had no obligations
to any notions of Ethical Investment and in fact Yale didn't divest
from Nazi Germany either. What does that tell you! <br>
<br>
If Humanities has a roll in business, given the current market it is
used only for market analysis!
answers3: well one need to nose human behaviours an social behaviours
before you start trying to sell them something through any
business.every one would benifit studying humanities,,lots luck with
your studys,peace.

Should I take AP US Humanities or just AP Us history and AP English Language 11?

answers1: There's no such thing as AP US Humanities. Your school
probably lists it as AP so that more students take it, but colleges
won't accept credits from it and there's no AP test. If you're
interested in humanities, by all means take it, but don't expect to
get college credit from it. <br>
If you only have room for 2 more courses and not 3, take the two real
APs. If you have room for 3 and you like humanities, take the class.
AP US History (APUSH for short) is a hard course, considered by some
to be the hardest social studies AP, but the other AP you're taking
isn't that hard, so I'm sure you'll be able to handle it. Good luck!
answers2: You should take as many ap courses as you can. It looks
better on you transcript and college applications. You are also saving
college tuition and time by taking these classes in high school
instead of having to struggle with them in college.

What do people study in a humanities class? Which one is more interesting US Humanities or World Humanities?

answers1: Humanities classes are very broad topically. Mine usually
have included literature, visual arts, film (if in the 20th century),
architecture, philosophy, and history. The idea is to draw connections
between all the various creative movements and influences that exist
in a culture at any given moment, as well as how these movements and
influences have influenced what has come later and what we are
experiencing now. <br>
<br>
As far as whether world or US humanities is more interesting, that is
a matter of opinion. A lot of my classmates absolutely loved their US
Humanities classes, but I found them boring. I really, really enjoyed
World Humanities, however. Your professor or teacher will also
influence how much you enjoy any class, humanities or otherwise.
answers2: humanities class??? we study a lot of stuff in that class. <br>
you study History, English(grammar), Poetry, and Novel Studies. <br>
and i don't know which one's intresting. i'm only in grade 8 and i
don't have plans to study other kinds of humanities...(=
answers3: i imagine about this stuff too. now and again it makes me
sense like i'm superior a useful existence by ability of helping
others. Then I comprehend how self-dependent even it truly is. We help
others to sense more suitable desirable about our lives, to get a
sense of exhilaration in what good people we are. lol it truly is all
authentic. there is not any element to any of it. it truly is
thoughts-boggling fairly. ?

art studies you like to do?

answers1: keep your own art journal- i.e. draw/paint one picture per
day related to something that struck you or that you felt was
important or characteristic of the day. That way you'll manage to
cover a number of different art themes over a period of days and
you'll improve your reflective and expressive skills in art (for
example when drawing a picture which doesn't really refer to something
in particular that you saw or that happened during the day; but just
depicts your mood throughout the day or during some part of it). <br>
Hope this helps! =]

Good book for comprehensive art history and methods (visual arts)? I'm lacking!?

answers1: Well, you could try a book like the first one below, but
generally, when we are teaching introductory courses in the history of
art, we have traditionally assigned the classics, either Gardner or
Janson. I can't say that the writing is brilliant, but they are
comprehensive. <br>
<br>
For more technical issues, such as color theory, you don't want a book
on art history. That's actually a separate subject covered in studio
arts/visual art courses and in books on these topics. <br>
<br>
Otherwise, I'd suggest that you look for books on individual topics
and periods in art history. They are where you are going to find
truly interesting scholarly writing.
answers2: That is a good observation

How to describe composition in visual art?

answers1: You can describe: line, form, repetition, directional
forces, use of colors, use of texture, etc. Composition is literally
the "technical" elements that were used in the painting. Good luck :]
answers2: composition in art is a placement of objects on a 2d surface
that allows the eye to settle upon and then move within it's
framework. the positioning of the elements of shapes, colors, and
values (along with subject matter) are orchestrated by the artist to
evoke a particular reaction from the viewer.

how would you act towards an ex you were forced to work with?

answers1: you blah. i would hateeeee that. :[ idk. i have a hard time
liking my ex's...like a have no friends that are ex's. it's cool
though. there is a REASON there is an X there. XD
answers2: I wouldnt date a co-worker, and that is precicely why.
Inter-office romance is doomed to failure in most cases for a couple
of reasons. The reason that inspired your question is one of them.
Another is the problem that I have seen when one of the people gets a
new job. Suddenly they dont get to spend any time together, because
they actually counted a major part of their "time together" as time
they spent at work. They eventually broke up. So then they had to quit
their job too because all around them were reminders of their ex. <br>
<br>
But in answer to your question, I would get a new job.
answers3: On the inside I'd be hating every second ... but it's work.
What can you do but just act like an adult and treat them (at least
outwardly) with basic kindness and respect? Be cordial, and when you
get home, use a picture of their face for a dart board or something.
<br>
<br>
It sucks, but being civil seems like the only option, unless you want
to find a new job.
answers4: I wouldn't care, not going to let him ruin my life and
especially get in the way of me and my job. That's just foolish.
answers5: It depends on which ex, there was one who broke my heart and
stomped on it. I'd get a Russian dictionary and send her messages in
Russian. If you studied Russian history, you'd know who Nikolai
Romanov was. She actually thinks or thought he rides on her shoulder.
answers6: Ignore him the best that i could. Never be stuck in the same
room with him or the elevator, basically avoid him.
answers7: wouldn't happen...I don't sh!t ..where I eat.....but if I
did ..hook up with some one...I would be cordial....haven't had my
heart broken...but I have pissed off a few girlfriends ..... I cant
help it.... if they act a fool around me... especially if I'm with
someone else... ...
answers8: There is a certain coolness of attitude coupled with
ordinary workplace courtesy which is far more apt to make him realize
he was a fool to drop you than either excessive friendliness or
clearly bitter behaviour. Probably the other person has some qualms
too. Unless it was a pure and simple, unilateral heartstompin'----I
suggest trying to get along with it the same way you would with any
other co-worker you didn't particularly like. <br>
<br>
the unfortunate thing about emotions is how they feed upon and
resonate each other. <br>
<br>
Ever notice how you tend to like someone who indicates they like you
or find you interesting, attractive, etc. <br>
<br>
Well---my guess is that you are more the grown-up in this relationship
(former relationship)---so---you probably get to set the tone. <br>
<br>
In both our work places, the supermarket, and sometimes even in our
extended families----we don't always "like" each other. That's what
manners and courtesy were invented for. They don't tell you how to
get along with people you like or love---that's pretty easy. they
tell you how to get along with annoying people who are standing on
your foot, or your last nerve. while keeping your own personal
standards of dignity and decency. <br>
<br>
(Heartbroken too)
answers9: Act professional, but not friendly. Be cold, not rude.
answers10: Not quite the same but I have to work with my ex crush(and
friend) who really treated me and turned out to be a two faced
backstabber, it sucks!

why were colonist angry with the townshend acts?

answers1: The colonists had just finished fighting to get the Stamp
Act repealed when the Townshend Act came into play. This act put a
tax on the most populat imported items such as paper, glass, and tea.
They felt that these were unfair due to the "taxation without
representation" as the former person answered. Yet, for some it was
just another injustice after the Stamp Act, and the Quartering Act.
This is especially true of those colonists who considered themselves
Patriots and felt that the colonies should be independent from the
British Govt. Of the Patriots the most heated arguments came from the
secret society called the Sons of Liberty.
answers2: The townshend acts were enforced because the Stamp Act were
repealed. They were angry because England was still trying to seize
control of the colonies. The townshend acts put taxes on paint glass,
lead, wood, etc. They tried so hard to revolt against the Stamp Act,
but now they have the townshend acts on them.

groups in the Charlotte area so I think you'll probably find one that

Know anything about theatre?

answers1: Oh, Great Blue Jumping Jehosephat! Save me from Important
Theatre Scholars! <br>
<br>
Theatre, unlike painting and sculpture, is ephemeral and mutable. A
single performance is never the same as another performance. Theatre
is a One Shot Deal. Once the performance is over, that's it. <br>
<br>
One can view Michelangelo's David or Picasso's Guernica today, and
revel in the artistry. One can only read about the great performances
of Will Kemp or Sarah Siddons. <br>
<br>
Theatre is a "living art form" because it is born in rehearsal, lives
under the lights, and dies at Closing. <br>
<br>
Not a bad turn of phrase, if I do say so. <br>
<br>
Perhaps I might be an Important Theatre Scholar some day. I got the
lingo down pat.
answers2: id say thats a great way to describe it becuse unlike art or
poetry it cant be put in a book or on a shelf it can only be seen, in
its truest form, live on a stage with an audience. <br>
an thats as living as it gets
answers3: Theatre only exists when it is being performed live in front
of an audience. If is is recorded in any way, it ceases to be
"theatre" and becomes something else, such as a film or a recording of
theatre which are not theatre in the strictest sense. The same is
true of dance and musical performance.
answers4: I agree with this. He may be saying that theatre is a living
art form because most art is still (painting, sculptures, drawings,
music, etc.) It is still because it does not change, whereas theatre
can only be art whenever it is live and there is always the chance of
error where improvisation (such as improvisation that we do in real
life) may need to happen.
answers5: The reason why he refers to it as a "living art form" isn't
because it is being performed live or anything like that. It is
because it changes and develops and grows over time. Theatre goes
through phases and stages like a human or other animal. It moves, it
expands, it contracts. Theatre is a living art form because it never
stops changing. It has grown from the greeks praising dionysus and
Zeus and the other gods that they believed in to now street theatre,
experimental theatre, theatre for social change and etc. Theatre never
stays in one state. It goes through rebellious stages, religious
stages, pop, punk, country music. hip-hop musicals are becoming rather
wide-spread now as well. There is always something new, theatre never
lies dead. The analogy or metaphor or what-have-you is basically
saying that theatre never stays still, and it's always going somewhere
new.

Youth poetry magazines or contests?

answers1: complex problem. look with the search engines. that will help!
answers2: Most countries have competitions for young poets, but since
I am based in the UK I know only about the ones we have here. <br>
<br>
You should probably talk to your English teacher at school - and
perhaps show him some of your poetry when you do that. He is likely to
be able to tell you about National and State poetry awards and
schemes. <br>
<br>
The competition is always fierce (everybody seems to think they can
write poetry), but even entering a competition is likely to get you
thinking seriously about your writing, and how you can improve it.

Even if you don't win, it will improve your writing no end.

How can I understand poetry?

answers1: Try reading the poem out loud. Poems are made with the music
and rhythm of words in mind. That might help. <br>
<br>
Also, don't over think the poem. Read it carefully to see what it is
saying literally, but don't go looking for a "hidden meaning" in it.
The meaning to you comes through how the poem makes you feel, and what
it reminds you of. It's a personal experience.
answers2: Perhaps you're reading the wrong poetry. Why don't you
start here: <a href="http://www.loc.gov/poetry/180/001.html"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.loc.gov/poetry/180/001.html</a>
<br>
and see if these poems suit you better.
answers3: Yes, it might be
answers4: Try to relate the words to real life and the problems or
experiences you've had.
answers5: By dissecting each line <br>
By understanding language <br>
By distinguishing gibberish crap from good poetry <br>
By trying to understand a creative original sentence that we have
nether spoken or heard before <br>
<br>
It's not a easy task
answers6: By finding the time period it was written in first. <br>
Then find what part of the world it pertains to. <br>
Finally the same as reading a book or watching a movie. <br>
I know some poems have different meanings for different people.
answers7: There are quite a few good books that can help you with
this: "How Does a Poem Mean?" by John Ciardi, "A Poetry Handbook" by
Mary Oliver, "Making Your Own Days" by Kennneth Koch, and "Nine Gates"
by Jane Hirshfield, for example. You can find these, and others that
you might enjoy, at your library.

answers1: poetry.com has some good ones...you can post your poems and
what not...
answers2: Its a scam......comparable ingredient exceeded off to me
luckily i did no longer purchase something from them i found out it
grew to become into all a lie only in time sucky ain't it (-__-) are
you able to suspect somebody who wrote a poem on the means rangers
have been given an acceptanmce letter....as long by using fact the guy
is keen to pay, it is not considerable
answers3: This is probably very late answer but then this platform
didnt exist then. <br>
Have a look at Tallenge. Its an online platform with 100,000
participants from about 135 countries participate in contests across
multiple categories like Art, Photography, Literature, Dance,etc. <br>
There is also online poetry contest and prize for the winner. Its free
so just go and try it out. <br>
Poetry contest:

Tallenge website: www.tallenge.com
answers4: www.poetry.com has great contests
answers5: Online poetry "contests" are generally scams, most notably
those offered by poetry.com. <br>
<br>
You submit your entry then get a notice that you've won (!) and that
you're work will be "published" in a volume with the winning entries.
You are then allowed to purchase this book for $59 - $99. It's a scam
to sell books. Unfortunately, desperate authors fall for it all the
time. <br>
<br>
The only poetry award that would be impressive on a college transcript
is a legitimate one. This means a contest that: <br>
<br>
1. has no entry fee and no reading fee. <br>
2. is judged by established, respected, published poets. <br>
3. is administered by a respected organization, institution or publication. <br>
<br>
These contests are far and few between. Check out "Poets and Writers"
magazine for announcements and calls for submissions.

What's your political philosophy?

answers1: Might makes right is a warped philosophy. If you remember
'Lord of the Flies' - the stronger members of the group eventually
gain power, and the stable society inhabited by Ralph ? and Piggy
begins to break down, anarchy reigns supreme. <br>
<br>
Since the majority of people are totally uninterested in politics
(unless something drastic forces them to be) it seems to me that it is
the most powerful and the most persuasive on TV who will be
elected...based on personalities rather than policies. <br>
<br>
Government is the elected members and the civil servants....I think we
could do away with the elected members and let the civil servants do
their job...I don't think many people would notice any difference in
their day to day existence. <br>
<br>
A government is legitimate if lawfully elected (however ignorant the
electorate) by a majority <br>
<br>
Yes, indeed. I wonder that, too.
answers2: These questions are what were asked by the American founding
fathers such as John Jay, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton,
James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams. <br>
<br>
They found their answers in the philosophies of John Locke, John Hume,
Harrington, Thomas Hobbes, Jean Jacques Rousseu, Adam Smith, and
Francois Quesnay. <br>
<br>
Hobbes was a state absolutist. <br>
<br>
Hume was a tory (democracy was an open door to chaos). <br>
<br>
Blackstone was a tory lawyer <br>
<br>
Harrington were republicans of strong aristocratic bias <br>
<br>
Locke were constitutional monarchists <br>
<br>
So just remember the 'Golden Rule of History' - them that has the
gold, makes the rules. Or them that has the guns, makes the rules.
<br>
<br>
Might makes right: The victors write history. <br>
<br>
Political power: Politics has sometimes been called the 'art of
compromise'. You are forced to compromise when powerful men do not
want to change. <br>
<br>
American government is a system of checks & balances so powerful men
are held back. <br>
<br>
Any government is legitimate when it is 'recogninzed' by other
powerful governments. <br>
<br>
Why are there governments at all? Because very rich & powerful people
put themselves in charge. <br>
<br>
Realistically speaking, no government exists if there are not powerful
people who make it exist.
answers3: There are governments beacause society must be organized.But
i think that in the near future,every person will be able to vote
through internet,i mean,not to vote other persons but laws and all the
things that must be done in a country. <br>
A govt.is legitimate when it does what was promised in the campaign
before the election
answers4: The answers to these is very extensive. Are you referencing
to Communist, Socialist, Democratic, just to name the big three but
there are a hundred different architectures of governments. but in a
nut shell, my personal insite of government .... We are screwed.
answers5: "What does it mean to say that "might makes right"? " <br>
<br>
- It's essentially saying that the most powerful have a duty to use
that power against the rest of us. <br>
<br>
"Is political power ultimately nothing but the rule of the strongest,
the most powerful, the most persuasive on TV? " <br>
<br>
- Yes because the nation state is nothing if not organized coercion.
All the money it generates is stolen through taxes (behind threats of
violence) and it's borders protected through threats of violence. <br>
<br>
"Is a government anything more than the power of those who run it? " <br>
<br>
- A government is not real. It's a conceptual tag. All the things the
government does is done by specific individuals. The reason it's
powerful is because it represents the psychological trauma of
childhood. The same parts of the brain light up in familial relations
as political ones and next to none is involved with the neo frontal
cortex (the reasoning part of our brain). <br>
<br>
"In your opinion, what makes a government legitimate? " <br>
<br>
- Nothing. It breaks from it's own principles immediately after it
states them. It's posed as a solution to theft, murder, rape and
kidnapping (among other things) and yet inflicts ALL of those as a
solution for them. It's a logical contradiction and wholly evil.
Police kidnap, steal from and murder people everyday and puts those
people it kidnaps in a place where they will likely be raped weekly.
Just because a man wears a uniform does not make him exempt from
simple logic. Soldiers murder, the police steal and it's not justified
ever. <br>
<br>
"Why are there governments at all?" <br>
<br>
- Because our parents exempt themselves from the rules they force us
to abide by.
answers6: Might makes right- means the most powerful makes the rules. <br>
<br>
Political power- There is also an element of back door deals and arm
twisting from the cleverest. Political power is divided so that rule
of the strongest really doesn't happen in the US. <br>
<br>
Yes government is more than power for those who run it, because in
America the gov't is made up of the people. That makes it a force to
create society not just a source of power. <br>
<br>
Gov't is made legitimate by the peoples decree, by force, or by peace
and prosperity. <br>
<br>
Governments will always be around to create structure of rules and
security for all people to live under. This can degenerate into
dictatorship pretty easily though.
answers7: My philosophy is to stay out of sex, religion and politics's <br>
in this category. <}:-})
