Why does trimming hair reduce the hair loss?

answers1: never heard that
answers2: because of trimming
answers3: Maybe short hair just doesn't fall out as easy. Since it is sorter.
answers4: It probably has to do with controlling the split ends of
your hair and your brushing habits. When hair is not trimmed on a
regular basis it gets split ends. The splits travel up the length of
the hairs, weakening them and making them break off easily.
Obviously, longer hairs that break off will be more visible than
shorter hairs. Now that you have returned to a shorter style, get
regular trims to avoid the splits. <br>

Brushing hair too much can also break off hairs, especially if you
brush while the hair is wet. Wet hair is very fragile. Only use a
comb with widely spaced teeth on wet hair. It also helps to use a
good conditioner every time you wash your hair, and occasionally use a
leave-in conditioner, which will help keep the hairs healthy. Again,
you probably brushed your hair much more when it was longer, which
added to the split ends.
