If skin is lost to a part of the body will more skin grow back than before?

answers1: New skin replaces old skin. There is no excess skin. Wounds
are covered by scar tissue. Scarring does fade over time. Old skin is
replaced all the time by new skin over a period of about 27 days.

What are some good skin toners for uneven skin?

answers1: well i think that bath and body works confort warm vanilla
works great and fast so try that!!!
answers2: Using brightening or whitening serums will support cut down
discoloration. Your skin care regimn sounds well. But there is not
relatively some way (below a gazillion greenbacks) to make your dermis
faultless. Makeup will surely support.... Concealer is the to a
splotch, blemish, or scar. Find one that fits your dermis tone and
texture. Consistency additionally makes the change. Try creamier
concealers below the eyes and a little bit thicker ones for the
leisure of the face. There are concealers with nice shimmer, which
support brighten below your eyes. There are different concealers that
include salicylic acid that no longer handiest coverup, but in
addition deal with zits. There's basis. Always recall it is texture
and if it is system is proper on your dermis. Dewy or matte?
Moisturizing or oil-soaking up? Sheerly usual or without doubt
faultless? And the whole lot in among. Make make-up final with just a
little little bit of powder. Try a peachy or yellow free powder. It
warms your complexion and protects your make-up. Apply with a giant
fluffy brush in order that you deposit a nice quantity onto dermis as
an alternative of pancaking it on.
answers3: I have problem skin and lately I've found that vitamins good
skin care and coa coa butter have changed my skin dramatically! I take
a multivitamin, betacarotene, folic acid, hair, skin, and nails formula
from GNC, and I drink a lot of water. I also exfoliate twice a week
for that deep clean with peach scrub (gentle formula) from St Ives. I
have uneven skin tone so I started moisturizing with Dr. Palmer's coa
coa butter. It really works! I have seen dramatic changes in my skin
with in four weeks. The only thing is to stay on it every day or it
won't work. I have gotten compliments from everyone I know. Good
luck!
answers4: MD Forte levels 2, and 3 are strongest... lotion for oily
skin, cream for drier... but even the cream is oil free so its great.
ebay way cheaper..retails for $65 but on ebay often $30's.
lasts about 2 months.....first bottle u will see major difference.....
oh and by the way all should watch this.<a

answers5: Arbonne International has a all natural skin care line to
help restore damaged skin and to keep healthy skin looking and feeling
healthy. Arbonne is the only skin care company that actually has a
patented anti aging system. In order to get the patent it has to prove
it works. The research and development this company puts into its
products are the reason there products are so great. You can get more
info from there web site or contact me on how to get a whole sale
acct.
answers6: firstly don`t rub the area affected too roughly, this can
create redness and swelling which can take ages to settle.Use a
waterbased moisturiser and GENTLY rub in. every time you go past a tap
wet your hands and dab the area gently. depending where the area is
you may need to examine your food intake as it could be related to an
allergic reaction. If the area is rough because of trauma (burns etc)
then protect it from harsh elements ( strong soaps, heat, cold and
fierce sunlight) same with the facial area. Vitamin E oil (from the
capsule) worked wonders with me as far as healing an angry area, use
sparingly, don`t use if you have an allergy to wheat. good luck. let
me know if it helps, may I knowwhere is this area and what caused it?
answers7: clinique 3 step toner @ walmart
answers8: Utilising brightening or whitening serums will aid scale
back discoloration. Your skincare regimn sounds just right. But there
is not relatively a technique (under a gazillion bucks) to make your
epidermis flawless. Makeup will most likely help.... Concealer is the
to a splotch, blemish, or scar. To find one who fits your skin tone
and texture. Consistency also makes the difference. Are attempting
creamier concealers beneath the eyes and somewhat thicker ones for the
leisure of the face. There are concealers with exceptional shimmer,
which support brighten beneath your eyes. There are other concealers
that incorporate salicylic acid that no longer most effective coverup,
but in addition deal with zits. There is basis. Continually remember
it is texture and if it's formula is proper in your dermis. Dewy or
matte? Moisturizing or oil-absorbing? Sheerly normal or undoubtedly
flawless? And everything in between. Make makeup final with just a
little little bit of powder. Try a peachy or yellow free powder. It
warms your complexion and protects your makeup. Follow with a giant
fluffy brush so that you deposit a high-quality quantity onto skin
alternatively of pancaking it on.

What is essential for a beginner makeup bag?

answers1: depends on age.. but if u are very yong i'd say mascara and
lip gloss..if u are an adult...foundation, conclear, mascara,
eyeshadow, bronzer/blush, lip colour
answers2: it all depends on your skin type. the normal essentials for
beginners are usually just foundation in powder form, light pink
blush, mascara, lipgloss, and maybe eyeliner. if you are to get
eyeliner, id suggest also investing in an eyeliner sharpener.
answers3: start with mascara, eyeliner, and a nice neutral shade of
lip gloss.

then i would go with a blush that adds a pop of color to your cheeks.
answers4: i recenttly made this little pic of whats in mine enjoy
pretty much this is what you need:
blush
msascara
eyeliner
bronzer(if you use it)
foundation creme
lipgloss
powder
answers5: Mascara, eye liner pencil for bottom lid and liquid eye
liner for top
if you've got good skin then don't bother with foundation - you don't
want to look like an oompa loompa if yu do get some ;) but it's nice
for like going out special places (:
dark eyeshadows good so it'll enhance yur eyes n for day wear maybe a
neutral colour
hmm what else - my opinion is blusher makes you look over the top so
maybe if yu do want 2 use it with foundation then get a lighter colour
(:
hope that helps :)
answers6: bring the necessities to school with you, things that need
touched up through out the day, like powder, lip gloss or chapstick,
eyeliner and eyelash curler, you dont really need to bring mascara,
cause you don't want to touch it up unless you want spider lashes.
just use the curler to pump them up when you are looking a little
tired. tweezers for any stray brow hair (if you pluck), travel size
perfume. everything else, you should just leave at home.
answers7: I think the very basics are mascara, bronzer and blush. Just
a quick swipe of bronzer across your face acts as a mini foundation
and then smile and apply some blush to the apples of your cheeks to
highlight your bone structure. And to make the eyes pop, find a
shimmery thick mascara.

If you want to dive a little deeper try an eyeshadow pallet with 3 or
4 colors for the complete look!
answers8: Mascara
Concealer
Neutral eyeshadow
Lipgloss

If you're just a beginner, I think that's good to start with. You can
build upon that.
answers9: lip gloss, foundation if you use it, and lash curler. I
would say lash curler is the most important because before the mascara
or the eye liner curling your lashes is going to automatically open up
your eyes. I know it not a cosmetic product but it's a must have tool
in a makeup bag. Oh! almost forgot Vaseline is kind of a staple too.
It's a quick fix for everything ; ) functions as a lip gloss, mascara
and remover.

Is makeup bad for the skin?

answers1: makeup can really go either way. If you wear makeup that's
designed to help skin, don't put on a whole lot it on and wash it off
every night im sure it would unharmful and possibly healthy for skin.
other makeup however will clog your pores and damage your skin causing
you to want to wear more without even knowing why. ALWAYS wash it off
before you go to bed and don't cake it on to your face
answers2: If it is not breathable, expired or applied incorrectly it can be.
answers3: Of course makeup is bad for your skin. All makeup is bad for
your skin.

when did you start wearing makeup??

answers1: Summers since i was 11, but i started wearing all year long
in 8th grade. Don't use coverup, ur too young for that, same with
lipstick. Don't wear blush, because it is easy for young people to do
too much. Don't use eyeliner, because it looks ridiculous. I do wear
eyeshadow (just don't do bright blue or very dark eyeshadow... but
purple, pink, white and brown all rock... just not to bright or
noticeable ) and mascara. Coverups okay for gigantic pimples. Lip
gloss is perfectly fine, i've been wearing that for years. I would
still maybe wait a couple of years for school years, but if u must
than uu can wear eyeshadow and mascara. and some lipgloss JUST DONT
FORGET UR BEAUTIUL WHETHER OR NOT U WEAR MAKEUP!!!!! :)
answers2: i personally think wait a lil while longer to wear heavy
makeup im 15 and i still use mascara eyeliner lipgloss and blush and
thats it normally i just blush on special occasion i started off wheni
was 13 and i just used mascara and lipgloss so i would say just
mascara and lip gloss dont ruin your skin cuz by the time your going
to be 15 or 16 and you use bronzer and cover up your face will look
like its like 26 and yea but i would say wait till your 14 or 13 to
put on makeup 11 is still young but its nice to think abou tyour buety
when your 11 i didnt know what makeup was when i was your age lol
answers3: im 14 & still havent started wearing makeup yet but the only
reason i havent started wearing makeup yet is becuz i hve acne on my
forehead & am trying 2 get rid of it but my mom used 2 be a beauty
control consultant & i have a ton of makeu i just nvr wear it
answers4: no dont do it. you're too young. at that age, you shouldnt
be worryin about make-up. once you're like 14 or so, then you could
wear a little, but people think of young girls that wear make-up as
$luts. try jus lip gloss. its the best makeup there is.
answers5: Technicly, I started wearing it at 4 for ballet and
musicals, but I started wearing normal makeup at 11, but I only wore
eyeshadow,lipgloss,and a little mascara.
answers6: i started when i was 13 but i know loads of people who
started much younger or are only just starting at 15. If you want to
then why not. Just experiment and eventually you'll find something
good.

Tip. don't wear foundation once you start you can't stop. I don't need
foundation yet i wear it every day because i feel ugly and horrid
without. So just skip the foundation.
answers7: I just started this year, and I'm 13!

Sorry, but 11's a little young. At the most I would say mascara and lipgloss! :]
answers8: i was 13..

If your gona wear makeup make it NATURAL...

i always see 11 year olds around that wear makeup that is orange
becuase they dont pick foundation in the right skin tone or they just
put far too much on.

Plently of people at 11 wear makeup...if its what you really want to
do then go for it...just dont make yourself look like a clown!
answers9: My dad let me wear in on the weekends when I was 12. when I
was 13 I wore it all the time when I moved to my moms.

I agree with the others. you are old enough, just go light and ask an
adult to help you pick it out and show you how to use it.
answers10: My grandma let me start wearing makeup when I was 13.
However, she took me to Merle Norman and had them teach me how to
apply everything, as well as how to correctly remove the makeup and
clean my face. She wouldn't allow me to wear makeup until after I had
done this. I'm glad that she did it because I didn't have to go to
school wearing makeup wrong b/c I didn't know how to put it on.

Why does trimming hair reduce the hair loss?

answers1: never heard that
answers2: because of trimming
answers3: Maybe short hair just doesn't fall out as easy. Since it is sorter.
answers4: It probably has to do with controlling the split ends of
your hair and your brushing habits. When hair is not trimmed on a
regular basis it gets split ends. The splits travel up the length of
the hairs, weakening them and making them break off easily.
Obviously, longer hairs that break off will be more visible than
shorter hairs. Now that you have returned to a shorter style, get
regular trims to avoid the splits.

Brushing hair too much can also break off hairs, especially if you
brush while the hair is wet. Wet hair is very fragile. Only use a
comb with widely spaced teeth on wet hair. It also helps to use a
good conditioner every time you wash your hair, and occasionally use a
leave-in conditioner, which will help keep the hairs healthy. Again,
you probably brushed your hair much more when it was longer, which
added to the split ends.

How to fix my iphone from accessory mode?

answers1: Try turning it off and blowing the dust and grime out of the
dock connector (using canned air -- not your mouth). Chances are, a
small piece of conductive material is shorting a few pins telling the
iPhone that an accessory is connected.
answers2: you will possibly desire to teach the telephone off
thoroughly each time the cabin team says to teach off digital units.
as quickly as the team says so you might use digital units, you may
turn the telephone on, yet you will possibly desire to save it in

What women's accessories or fashion jewelry that are in this season?

answers1: 1. Are you fashion concious? Kind of, but not the point of
skipping school just because my shirt is wrinkled or something doesn't
match. (It's happened before. Sad, sad.) As long as I look decent, I'm
fine. 2. What factors do you keep in mind while following the fashion
trend? I don't "follow" trends. If I think a trend is cute, there's
always a reason and NOT because I worship trends and get a new
wardrobe every season. 3. What is the month expenditure on clothes,
accessories, and cosmetics? We're doing home makeovers, which means
wardrobe makeovers, and in the next two or three months, we can easily
spend about 500 dollars on each wardrobe. Thousands for my Dad since
he's buying new suits. Once everything gets back to normal, only maybe
50 to 100 dollars for a monthly shopping trip. 4. How do you think the
following trends will influence you? Like I said, I don't follow
trends. If it looks good on me, and I think it's cute, I'll buy it,
but not because I want to look "trendy". 5. How do you think awareness
and falling fashion trends affect the individual's personality? I
believe that anyone who strictly follows these trends have no
originality whatsoever. They seriously affect people's personality to
the point of insanity. If you like a trend, go for it, but jazz it up
with different accessories. What if you don't like the trend? Are you
always going to be concious about how you look? Oh wait, it's a trend!
Supposedly EVERYONE looks good in a trend and you'll do just fine!
Wrong-o. If you don't like what you wear, then you will always look
bad. Hope I helped. Interesting questions. :-)
answers2: Go to a store that she likes to buy clothes at...like

Identify the four accessory structures or accessory organs of the human digestive system; describe the functio?

answers1: Accessory Structures Of An Organ
answers2: Accessory Organs
The salivary glands, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas are not part of
the digestive tract, but they have a role in digestive activities and
are considered accessory organs.

Salivary Glands

Three pairs of major salivary glands (parotid, submandibular, and
sublingual glands) and numerous smaller ones secrete saliva into the
oral cavity, where it is mixed with food during mastication. Saliva
contains water, mucus, and enzyme amylase. Functions of saliva include
the following:

It has a cleansing action on the teeth.
It moistens and lubricates food during mastication and swallowing.
It dissolves certain molecules so that food can be tasted.
It begins the chemical digestion of starches through the action of
amylase, which breaks down polysaccharides into disaccharides.
Liver

The liver is located primarily in the right hypochondriac and
epigastric regions of the abdomen, just beneath the diaphragm. It is
the largest gland in the body. On the surface, the liver is divided
into two major lobes and two smaller lobes. The functional units of
the liver are lobules with sinusoids that carry blood from the
periphery to the central vein of the lobule.

The liver receives blood from two sources. Freshly oxygenated blood is
brought to the liver by the common hepatic artery, a branch of the
celiac trunk from the abdominal aorta. Blood that is rich in nutrients
from the digestive tract is carried to the liver by the hepatic portal
vein.

The liver has a wide variety of functions and many of these are vital
to life. Hepatocytes perform most of the functions attributed to the
liver, but the phagocytic Kupffer cells that line the sinusoids are
responsible for cleansing the blood.

Liver functions include the following:

secretion
synthesis of bile salts
synthesis of plasma protein
storage
detoxification
excretion
carbohyrate metabolism
lipid metabolism
protein metabolism
filtering
Gallbladder

The gallbladder is a pear-shaped sac that is attached to the visceral
surface of the liver by the cystic duct. The principal function of the
gallbladder is to serve as a storage reservoir for bile. Bile is a
yellowish-green fluid produced by liver cells. The main components of
bile are water, bile salts, bile pigments, and cholesterol.

Bile salts act as emulsifying agents in the digestion and absorption
of fats. Cholesterol and bile pigments from the breakdown of
hemoglobin are excreted from the body in the bile.

Pancreas

The pancreas has both endocrine and exocrine functions. The endocrine
portion consists of the scattered islets of Langerhans, which secrete
the hormones insulin and glucagon into the blood. The exocrine portion
is the major part of the gland. It consists of pancreatic acinar cells
that secrete digestive enzymes into tiny ducts interwoven between the
cells. Pancreatic enzymes include anylase, trypsin, peptidase, and
lipase. Pancreatic secretions are controlled by the hormones secretin
and cholecystokinin.
answers3: These are the PARTS and FUNCTIONS of the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
highly simplified: Mouth > Where the food enters the body. This is
also where initial digestion occurs. Pharynx > Where the food becomes
a bolus (mass of chewed food), and it is conducted to the esophagus.
Esophagus > Where the bolus is transported from the pharynx to the
stomach. Stomach > Where digestion of carbohydrates and fats are
performed. *Liver > Releases bile into the gall bladder, which stores
it until fats are passed from the stomach into the duodenum. *Pancreas
> Releases enzymes which further degrade carbohydrates and proteins.
Both the liver and the pancreas release their products to the Duodenum
through the Major Duodenal Papilla. Duodenum > Where protein digestion
occur. Absorption of nutrients such as carbohydrates and most minerals
occur here. Jejunum > Longest segment of the digestive tract.
Absorption of carbohydrates and proteins continue here. Ileum > Where
calcium, iron, fats, and bile salts get absorbed. This is also where
lymph nodes protect the body from the remaining undigested and
unabsorbed foodstuff. Cecum > Where there are good bacteria which help
ferment cellulose and undigested lactose. The bacteria here produce a
substance called "raffinose", which is the compound responsible for
the putrid odor of fart. Ascending, Transverse, Descending, and
Sigmoid Colon > Where water and electrolytes are absorbed. Rectum >
Where the feces is stored before expulsion. Anal Canal > A very short
passageway connecting the rectum and the anus. This is the junction of
the visceral (internal body organs) and the integument (external body
organs such as the skin). Anus > The last stage of the digestive
system and the opening into the outside world (duh?!) Hope I helped
you!

Do you think fashion is art?

answers1: I do very much
answers2: answer is the two particular an no. There are aspects of
vogue that can actual be considered artwork. although the two as lots
greater of that's a means or commerce. The organic aesthetic layout
factor of vogue could be considered an artwork-kind, although from
thereon in all aspects of vogue, the slicing, sewing of a couture gown
to styling for a photoshoot will become industry artwork, and
consequently a commerce. If one have been to pose the question no
remember if a couture gown made for the runway is artwork however, the
respond could be rather diverse, whilst maximum of the artwork placed
into the gown may be the artwork of a craftsman, the basically proper
product must be considered a chew of artwork. To sum up, the
aesthetics of layout, couture clothing and pictures themselves may be
considered artwork, yet something of the form industry is precisely
that, an industry. Male, 20. reading materials technological

Charles, whilst I settle on your factor as valid, i could nonetheless
prefer to contest your argument. whilst vogue does certainly ebb and
circulate with passing time and is massively commercialised, that's
only the facade that it holds as much as stay to tell the story.
there's a dying breed of vogue residences belonging the elite band of
the Chambre syndicale de l. a. high fashion whose existence relies on
the laurels of those reminiscent of Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, and
Christian Dior (and later persisted via the likes of Yves Saint
Laurent and Giorgio Armani), people who no longer purely created
clothing, yet understood and redefined femininity, and that's their
legacy. We would have moved forward, yet present day vogue dates back
to those founders.
answers3: yes.
it takes creativity to design clothes, skills to make them come to
reality, and character to pull them off! and what you wear expresses
who you are, like a lot of people dress to express themselves. it's
definitely art.
answers4: Everything is art from clothes to chairs. someone had to create it.
answers5: Yes it definately is because it has vision and takes
creativity to create real fashion. it isn't just clothes
answers6: Yes because, Art is the product or process of deliberately
arranging symbolic elements in a way that influences and affects one
or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect. It encompasses a
diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression,
including music, literature, film, photography, sculpture, and
paintings. The meaning of art is explored in a branch of philosophy
known as aesthetics, and even disciplines such as history and
psychoanalysis analyze its relationship with humans and generations.
This can be expressed through fashion
answers7: I suppose. Fashion is an art all in itself. It requires
patience and a lot of artistic talent to create a design. A Fashion
Design is like an Art Design. They both require a lot of artistic
talent to be a fashion.
answers8: Yes, to me, i dress how i feel in the day, it inspires me,
it shows my personality! Its like music.. I listen the songs according
to what i feel..
answers9: yes ... sure :D
answers10: No. Fashion is petty.
Fashion Photography/ Fashion in general help!?

answers1: Okay, well first off I would advise you to go to the shop
and buy VOGUE. Half of the magazine is full of ad's for top designer
brands and good editorial shoots of the models, i.e; Louis Vuitton,
Christian Dior, Miu Miu, Chanel, but I would say Vivienne Westwood
really takes fashion photography to another level.. all her shoots are
quite eccentric. A few other great fashion magazines to buy are ELLE,
In Style and Harper's Bazaar. These magazine are expensive; usually
about £4.00 for one. The best magazine for editorial is Harper's
Bazaar so if you can only afford one, buy that one.
Models connect with the camera in many different ways and techniques..
they can use different expressions and muscle movements in their
faces, also good eye contact with the camera. Fashion photography is
extremely important because at the end of the day, its about
advertising the item or clothing and making money, therefore the
better the photography the more money is made. That's why its also
very important for the brand to have the right kind of model, to
attract the right buyers they are aiming at. Go have a look through
some of the magazine I mentioned and the photos you like find out who
the models are that are modeling for them.

---------------------------------------...

Yeah that would be fine. Just any magazine with lots of fashion ads
inside. It doesn't really matter how old they are, depending on what
its for... the fashion ads wont be up to date, so if that's a problem
then you probably would need a newer up to date version, but generally
it should be fine! Have fun. :)
answers2: That's not fashion photography at all. These just look like
snapshots, you can improve though. Where's the fashion? A black
jumper, jeans, a teddy bear, guitar and an emo outfit does not shout
fashion to me try to actually get some dresses or something high
fashion that doesn't have a stereotype. Also have you ever seen a
photograph in vogue of someone against a white wall and wooden floor?
Look through vogue or just watch Americas next top model. This should
show you.

what dose a Fashion Journalist do?

is, essentially, a visual medium in interesting, creative,
entertaining and imaginative ways. They need to understand the
difference between fashion and shopping, taking into account wider and
more diverse factors, including societal, cultural and economic
contexts.

Tasks typically involve:

* communicating the constantly changing fashion market to a wide
audience;
* reviewing and keeping abreast of new ranges, designers and trends;
* visiting and building contacts with relevant PR companies;
* attending press open days, trade and consumer shows;
* researching the fashion media;
* interviewing designers;
* organising and attending fashion shoots;
* writing and editing features and news stories.
The continuing expansion of digital media may increase opportunities
to move into broadcast journalism, either as a researcher, reporter or
presenter
